I’m an Art Worker based in Hawick, Scottish Borders. My work and research often takes the form of production and curatorial roles, collaborating on projects with artists and arts organisations. I am interested in alternative contexts, cross-disciplinary collaboration and creating social points of access in contemporary art.
I studied MFA Contemporary Art Theory at Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh, after graduating from BA Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee.
I’ve worked on a range of projects with a variety of partners over the last few years. From 2015 – 2018 I worked with Deveron Projects in Huntly, first as Shadow Curator, then Art & Community Worker, and since 2017 as Project Manager. Deveron Projects is a socially engaged arts organisation, with an aim to create platforms for social issues to be discussed and disseminated in locally relevant and participant-focused ways.
I currently work with Alchemy Film & Arts as Programme Manager, overseeing their exhibition programming, annual film and moving image festival, and community engagement initiatives.
